Truth.

Its amazing how every human being has heard of the saying, “You don’t know what you have until its gone”, yet each and everyone of us still continue to ignore what’s most important to us. Some of us expect love and respect from others but don’t really know how to give it back.
Some would say that Family is more important than anyone or anything and others would say that if u grow a strong and healthy relationship with a friend, then they are as much family to you then those who share the same DNA.

Some may grow up in big families and may say that they share good and bad memories with their siblings, cousins or even friends; that will remain on their minds for eternity. Maybe they had experienced times where there was sheer happiness and joy but as times went by that change into hatred, disrespect and emotional abuse. Even though they thought they had a loving and close family, it was clear that hatred would always be larking around the corner. The truth is, the love that you had while growing up was never enough and I guess that was one of the reasons why every time the love came crawling back something always pulled them apart again.

What most people don’t think of is that human beings don’t live forever, those you love and adore the most will soon leave you one way or another. Its scary to think that when that day comes, it’ll be the day you realize that you had the chance to show and tell that someone how you really felt about them. It'll be the day you acknowledged that the little you continued to fight about weren’t as important anymore.

Love and respect is priceless, but its clear that the pain we feel when loosing someone you love, is the price we pay for not showing them how much we cared when they played a part in our lives.
